●It is used to store ice produced by the ice maker. When a large amount of ice is needed at an ice-consuming point, the ice storage can automatically deliver ice to meet the need. Ice in the ice storage will be raked during operation of the system. Ice production will automatically stop when ice in the ice storage reaches the upper limit, and restart when ice in the ice storage falls below the lower limit. 

●The automatic ice storage is available in two types, i.e. containerized type and combined type, with the specification from ADR20 to ADR100. The containerized automatic ice storage is convenient for transport and easy for installation, suitable for ice-making scenarios where frequent relocation occurs.

Features of the rake automatic ice storage

●Double-layer insulation and one circulating ventilation channel, with cooling devices installed inside the storage to maintain the ice storage -5 to -12℃ and keep the ice flakes dry and crunchy.

●Ice is output at intervals in good shape.

●High-quality elements are used. All parts have undergone careful selection to ensure continuous long-term operation of the equipment. 

●Sprocket wheels and chains are made of special materials by special manufacturing processes to ensure fault-free continuous operation of the ice scraper under high-intensity working conditions. 

●The main structure of the ice storage bin is made of anti-rust galvanized steel or stainless steel. 

●The automatic ice storage bin has a lifting mechanism that can automatically adjust the ice raker height to ensure the ice rake is always on the ice surface. 

●The ice barrier door is provided with an electrical push rod or cylinder to automatically open or close the door upon ice delivery, while allowing  observation of ice level inside the storage. 

●The ice storage bin uses special sealing material to ensure no leakage during long-time operation of the equipment and prolong the service life of the equipment.

●The electrical control system is provided with a PLC and a touch screen operating panel, as well as electric protection and alarm devices. 

●All electrical devices used in the storage are of IP55 or above.

 Automatic Rake Ice Storage

 

Main components

1.Unless otherwise specified, the ice storage bin uses 100mm insulated boards as bin boards for thermal preservation.

2.Al-Zn alloy-coated boards or stainless steel boards are used in contact with ice inside the ice storage bin. Between the bin boards and the Al-Zn alloy-coated boards are cold air channels.

3.At both ends of the ice storage bin, doors are provided for access to the ice storage bin for equipment maintenance. 

4.The ice raking frame has been treated by hot-dip galvanization; the round-link ring is made of high-strength alloy material. 

5.The lifting frame which has been treated by hot-dip galvanization has modular design; it is so designed as to keep the ice rake pressing against the ice surface; the ice raker is provided with a sensor to detect the ice surface level. 

6.The ice barrier door is provided with an electric push rod or cylinder, below which is a spiral conveyor for horizontal ice delivery; there are two ice outlets for simultaneous or separate ice output. 

7.The air coolers in the ice storage bin function to maintain the bin temperature at -5 to -12℃, so as to keep the ice flakes dry and crunchy.

8.The control system has ports reserved for connection to the control system of a mixing station for remote control. 

9.Monitoring devices are installed inside the ice storage bin for real-time operation monitoring of internal devices.
